Goshawk bookplates

Thought it would be fun to create some bookplates based on the Goshawk in the previous posting. Its springtime and the little birds have to be alert. I’ve used thick cartridge paper stretched with paper gum before transferring parts of the drawing. Lead pencil some ink and watercolours were used here.

This bookplate with the sunset has more of a traditional design. This led me to thinking of creating my own font which I added digitally.
